We all know what a drag it can be to find someone to collaborate with. First you post your stuff all over town and online. Then you slog through the responses trying to separate the serious prospects from the fluff. THEN you try to set up a time in each of your busy schedules to meet to see if you mesh. FINALLY you meet, just to discover there's no way you'd want to be in a band or other collaborative process with this person... so you're back to the beginning!

Wouldn't it be great if you could cut out all that stuff and just get to the initial meeting?

Well now you can, with MARN's "Speed Dating for Musicians". MARN will bring together a bunch of musicians in one room to meet for a night. Like regular speed dating you'll get roughly 5 minutes to meet each participating musician and see if you mesh. Then you can either choose to meet up again or if it doesn't fly move on to the next table. Afterward stick about for drinks and networking.
